Agnetha Faltskog
Agnetha faltskog is most well-known for her performance as a soloist from Sweden. But, she'll forever be remembered as a past member of ABBA, the world's most well-known and profitable commercial pop band. When she left school at the age of 15 Agnetha began her singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt which quickly gained a following. Enghardt secured her a contract with a record contract. She soon reached the highest spot on Sweden's charts, with her debut single. Bjornulvaeus who she later got married to as her boyfriend, was also in the mix and she joined ABBA. ABBA was one of greatest pop acts across the globe during the period of eight years. The group received the gold and platinum awards throughout all over the world. In the years following ABBA, she released three albums including 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' and 'Eyes of a Lady I Stand Alone', all with great success in Sweden and grew in popularity across Europe too, but they didn't make it to the top of charts on the U.S. As the '80s wound to a close the singer entered an informal retirement. ABBA music served as the foundation of a musical jukebox called Mamma Mia!. They came out of retirement to record 'My Coloring Book' that peaked at 11 on the U.K. charts. The latest album, A, was also popular.
